Brilliant take on the indirect path to motivation. The part about wisdom landing diferently when it comes from someone else's unrelated story is so true, probabaly becuase it bypasses our mental defenses. I've found that listening passively while doing mindless tasks creates this perfect state where insights can actually sink in instead of just bouncing off.
